I have always heard of 3 degrees of separation between people but I never believed it. Well the reason why I bring this up is because I was walking around the booths (BBB) and almost missed Staple Designs booth with Lomography. Their booth wasn't as big as the other exhibitors but, they still had presence and commanded respect.
Respect is an understatement, they had mad people over there paying homage. I am not going to lie, I was one of them asking random questions they have probably answered a million times or didn't feel like answering. Either way I was blessed to meet one person from Staple
Nico/Staple . I don't know how they (Staple Design) comes up with their collaboration but, they are on point with their subjects and design intentions. I know they really focus on lifestyle items and events so it would only be natural to have them there with Lomography at BBB.
This a cool bunch of individuals.
I was walking around the street wear area I think it was level 4 or 5 and ran across this booth with these three guys shooting the shit, laughing and having a good oh time. I was at BBB by myself so I was like let me see whats cracking. Ended up hanging out and gained some support in this game.
The guy on the bottom right, works from a shoe brand named Booji (forgot his name), Shinnosuke Nishigaki (middle) works for Prohibit and RMC (Rangy Mountion Clothing), Cameron sells rep. for RMC. decided to have a impromptu fashion show for shits and giggles. They had mad people turning heads wondering who these people are....good times....good times!
MR. K from Monorex doing his thing at Reebok's X Secret Wars once again they were bringing the crowd with his creative genre and ink skills. Big up MR. K!
I thought the Urban Superior hall had an tight DJ booth set up with propose and a great and creative design. Hell, if there was a club like that I believe it would bring in lots of people waiting to get the eardrums blown out with those huge speakers.
Them boys from Monorex are doing what they do best outside of the sportswear/ streetwear hall.
I think those are thumb people but, who am I to say its not tight as hell. they had lots of folks stopping by giving up love.
I know it doesn't seem like much but, to me it means a lot..So stay tuned for more great news, fashion, design, toys, and people.
signing out........
