Travel Tip while in Europe

I learned while flying to Barcelona that using inexpensive carriers sometimes isnt the best even though they get you to the same place as an expensive airline. Im talking about RyanAir.
That was the most out of place airports, unorganized ticket booths, outrageous fees (booking, bags, and in flight food/ drinks) and the quality of passengers. I am not one to complain and have dealt with many messed up arrangements but damn, there has to be a limit, standards.
