Yo the first time I heard of this guy....I had the same reaction had when I found out that sido ( "Super Intelligentes DrogenOpfer" translation...super intelligent drug victim --or--"Scheisse in dein Ohr" translation....Shit into your ear). and bushido had beef (german artist)...."what the f^%k"!

Jay is on a totally different level along the lines of, andre 3000, common, and maybe cee-lo (he is just on a different level all together) which is probably why Ms. Badu has signed him to her label Control FreaQ Records. Well as the fact that he will be her new child's father doesnt hurt.

even NAS is co- signing him and has metaphorically taken him under his wing creating smooth scores of never-ending poetic work.
