Ikea recently decked out a Kobe train in textiles like ALVINE BUKETT curtains and BLÅHÄGG blankets.
Turning train-cars into more comfortable habitats seems to be a theme for the Chinese too.
They’re turning old subway cars into homeless shelters. Decked out with bunk-beds and heaters, they’re being used to accommodate refugees from the latest of deadly earthquakes. We’re only wishing Ikea could sneak a truckload of house-warming wares into the new temporary homes.
